Logs are also kept for the administrator to look over after windows patches have updated the operating system. Since the creation of the windows operating system, windows patches are developed to keep the system secure and running smoothly. New software that is developed for the operating system may require new windows patches in order to run. These patches and security fixes can all be updated online by the user. Patches are extremely easy to use and most computer users are fully aware without how they work.
