The specifics of bridal shower invitations

Part of the fun of giving a bridal shower to your friend is the honor of inviting some of her closest friends and female relatives. After you are done with all the details and have prepared everything line a good general, now comes the part where you invite people. You may be asking why it is important to leave the invitation as the last task. Well, for practicalitys sake you would not want the hassle of calling everyone and then resend another invitation should you have to move the date to another day. Now, when it comes to the success of the party, well, you would want everything to be perfect right? And this includes the invitation. So it would be better to have the invitation last so that you can be sure that they will match your party. What if you suddenly decide to throw away a theme party instead? Of course you want to inform your guest properly then and of course to have a matching theme invitation. In any case, any changes you decide later on can still be done if you still have not given out the invitation.
Now before you write on the invitations, the first thing you should do is to make a list of all the people you are going to invite. To make sure you have not left someone uninvited, you start by asking the bride for list of. Once you have the list, go over it with the bride to make sure that everyone on the list is invited in the wedding. It would be embarrassing for the bride if you invite someone for the bridal party when that someone is not invited in the wedding.
Next after the list is the right wording for your invitation. Make sure you have the brides full name, date of your party, the time of the party, where the party will be and the RSVP details on your invitation. Then you also might want to include the theme of the party and the gifts, if it is a theme party. And do not forget your name as the host of the bridal shower. Then in case you are giving a surprise party, make sure that your guests will arrive earlier than the bride by giving them clear instructions and details. Last but certainly the most important, your guests should have time to buy gifts, to prepare and to arrange their schedules so your invitation must be received by all the guests ahead of time.
