Rochester is a famous city located in the New York United States. With the advanced infrastructure and technological advancements, the metropolitan city Rochester has become the major attractions for the people. Rochester NY hosts Lilac Festival therefore; it is also recognized as The Flower City. Lilac festivals are organized every year in May in Rochester NY. About 400 varieties of Lilac are presented in the festival and near about 10,000 people come on the festival.
Although Rochester NY is a metropolitan city, still there is historical architecture and artwork promoted in the city. About twenty miles southwest of Rochester, there is a Genesee Country Village and Museum. This village preserves the local architecture, model gardens, and sporting and carriage museums. The festival culture is also promoted in the city and many festivals in the spring and summer are organized. For example, on the fourth of July, in summers the village is lit with fireworks. The accent spoken in Rochester NY is a form of Inland Northern American English. This accent resembles the accent of Chicago or Detroit. As 55% of the population of Rochester comprise of blacks therefore, the accent of the native Rochesterians has been changed.
Therefore, Rochester NY is considered as an ideal city to spend the peaceful days of life.
